Overview

C4 is a "Shoot Them Up" game, with a 2D infinite C4pic.jpg multidirectional scrolling. All sprites are 3D Animated and 3D rendered.
In particular, you may get impressed by A.I. of the ennemies, Gigantic two-screens high Level Bosses, or perfectly smooth animation.

Its particularity: you control the C4 prototyp, a BattleTech that could transform in two configurations: Ship or Robot.

A- C4 as Ship
Moves fastly.
But possess no protection system: A single enemy shot could destroy it.

Basically it is used to move rapidly through ennemy structures.
It has 6 ship specific weapons, plus 3 optional weapons holded concurrently.

B- C4 as Tech
Moves are largly slower ( he has to walk and jump !)
but his armour is far stronger, so it could resist to a few enemy casualties.
He is also equiped by an unique prototypal protection dome, that could be triggered any time by hitting the ground with its left fist.
Moreover, the Tech can change its firing direction 360 degrees around by rotating his arm.
Aliens should take care not getting too near, or they will be instantly annihilated by C4's special PowerHit.

Designed for final ground assault, C4 as Tech releases all of its power, making devastating destructions.
It has 6 tech speciffic directional weapons, plus 3 optional weapons holded concurrently.

Playing C4, you will make your way inside enormous level maps, in practically any direction. but you'll do this sometimes flying, sometimes walking and jumping. Sometimes you'll have to go back, or avoid using some path because of danger.

C4 delivers intense arcade action, you will haven't any single second of peace during the game.
As C4 weaponry is really devastating, their deafering sound effects will force you to pump down the volume !

C4 is designed to be spectacular and visually profusing: Only high skilled player will defeat merciless hords of aliens...
Novices, pass your way !

Our Opinion
We still think that to-day craze for 3D video games didn't influence ShootThemUp interest. Something is always very pregnant in this type of game, which allows it to keep hold across the years.

The game is set for action, et reminds us how much such a simple concept could be exciting, when made with passion and sharp attention to details. We hope It will delight PC players.
